For the Broome Arena Project, CDS worked with their Authorized AV Integrator in Syracuse, NY, Univisions to develop a coste effective alternative to LED for video reinforcement at Broome Area in Binghamton, NY, home of the Binghamton Senators, the farm team for the NHL's Ottawa Senators. Evaluation several options, it was determined that a 2X2, 90" videowall with our VP2 Optical Screen technology and conventional LCD projectors would yield a 180" diagonal image at about a tenth the price of a similarly-sized LED display (of lesser resolution).
The client positioned one these 180" displays opposite each other in the far corners of the arena and after nearly none years, we've only had to replace one screen due to an errant slap shot! |
